Watched The Last King Of Scotland on Saturday and Blood Diamond last night. Two good films I must say. I really liked Whittaker's performance as Idi Amin in The Last King Of Scotland. Well worth an Oscar.

I loved the book and can't wait to see that film even though many have said that it was very disappointing.

A big part of the book was the description of the scents, hard to translate onto the screen

Yes I believe that it will be hard to do the book justice, any book for that matter. But still I really want to see the film.

I've read a couple olf decent reviews of Perfume, but not sure if I really want to see it.  Last King was excellent.  Have yet to see Blood Diamond due to my aversion to Leonardo Di Crappio.  But, I may watch it as a lot of people I know seem to have liked it.

Saw Spiderman 3 (disappointing plot, although special effects were great), Hot Fuzz (hilarious) and 28 weeks later (much better than the first one) recently in the theatres.

- Arty-farty stuff but mezmerising all the same.  A bloke born with a very acute sense of smell but doesn´t emit any odour himself.

- Yes of course it does but he does not. No body odour at all.  He does make his own though.  Pretty nasty.

KD I was not really looking forward to watching Blood Diamond myself as I had heard mixed reviews. The last few were quite positive so I said what the hell and rented it out. A very enjoyable movie and Di Caprio is pretty good in it. Not his biggest fan but he is a decent actor.

He was excellent in it and it was a great film IMO. You gotta see these films in the cinema to appreciate them fully i think!

On a shameful (very shameful) note I am afraid to say me and the Girlfriend got out the Holiday with Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Kate Winslet n Jack Black in it - I actually enjoyed it!
