Fernando Torres netted his 28th goal of the season as Liverpool beat Everton 1-0 at Anfield to open up a 5pt gap between the Merseyside rivals in their battle for 4th place. It was Torres' 21st EPL goal of the season and he sits in 2nd place behind Cristiano Ronaldo in the EPL scoring charts this season. Torres's joins an elite group of players which includes Roger Hunt, Ian Rush and Michael Owen who have all scored in 6 successive games at Anfield. Torres' goal was also Liverpool's 100th goal of the season which means he has scored 28% of them!
