Does anyone really care about the winter olympics other than the nations competing?  I only like the Ice Hockey and could care less about the rest.  A friend of mine's company is streaming the event for NBC and CTV and he saw this happen live.  Apparently, the rider has died:

USA just beat canada in the ice hockey. Prelim round but still counts for form going into the finals

Canada had more quality as you'd expect but U.S.A. made their speed and determination count.

I like watching a few different events, the best of which so far has been the really close finish in the snowboard racing (no idea what it's called) between the yank and the canadian.

I'd still back Canada to win the whole thing if they sack off Brodeur, put in Luongo (better keeper thesedays for me anyway) and if this kick up the ass wakes them up.
