With Skrtel out for 8 weeks i'm glad to the Greek back. More than likely play Carra at RB with Greek, Agger and Insua making up the back 4

Don't know what to expect in the midfield but wouldn't bu surprise to see this

Kuyt -- Lucas -- Masch -- Yossi

Which leaves Gerrard and Torres up front

This all depends on international break as well and hopefully no injuries

Agreed. It will be good to see the Greek back in the mix. Will give us more aerial presence across the pitch.

I can't see Aquilani getting anything but a few minutes at the end.

Would rather see Gerrard at CM then anywhere else. Means that one of Lucas and Masch will miss out, but we really need to score goals to win games now.

Is

Kuyt Gerrard Mascherano Maxi

         Aquilani

                 Torres

too much to ask for?

Hoping Aqua to start is alot to ask for  Razz

But ur right we do need to win this and I'd love to play Gerrard in the middle but can't see it happening espically away from home

I think we will see the same team with possibly Kyrgiakos instead of Agger and Riera or Babel ahead of Maxi. If we do have Agger fit then Carra will go RB and Masch to CM. We will then see Maxi out and Yossi and Kuyt on the flanks.

Kelly will get a game at RB this time - either that or Masch gets drafted at RB and Spearing comes in at CM.

Whatever it takes to keep 2 DM's in place.

We have played all but one away league game this season with a pair of DM's. The exception was away to Villa when (I think) Masch wasn't available and Lucas-Aquilani played in the middle. Another away game which Masch missed was at Sunderland, when Spearing started with Lucas (and the pair was totally outshone by Cattermole and I think, Cana.

He will keep the same formation with Kyrgiakos instead of Agger with Gerrard in CM. Spearing has more chance of landing on the moon than starting this game.

No chance in Spearing player GR. I don't think he'll even make the squad. Kelly and Ayala will be on the bench again but won't get on the pitch unless of an injury.

Just guessing that Benitez will stick to 2 DM's, hence the Spearing pick if Mascherano has to play at RB. Personally, I don't think Spearing has done much this season in the couple of appearances he got, and at this rate, he's probably going to be sold for a pittance to a lower league club (if not let go for free in the end).

Should've been loaned out earlier, both for his own development, as well as to raise the asking price.

He will stick Gerrard as CM near Lucas and deploy Kuyt behind Torres. No Spearing.

Why no Mash?

I like the team but Mash starts on the field either at rightback or DM.

          Pepe
Mash Carra Kyr Insua
    Gerrard Lucas
  Kuyt Yossi Babel
         Torres

With the exception of our fullbacks that's pretty much our best team going on form this year. Maybe Reira instead of Babel.

             Reina
Kelly Carra Kyriakos Insua

Kuyt Aqualini Mascher Babel
            Gerrard
              Torres
