I absolutely LOVE College Bball, more so even than the NBA probably (though that might have something to do with being a Knicks fan  ). March Madness kicks off in an hour (ESPN America you complete me!) with Robert Morris v Nova. The so called "experts" brackets on the selection show were tedious and predictable, mine is a bit more spicy. I've got a 14 seed and 2 12 seeds making the sweet 16. Got Cuse winning it all from WV and Baylor are my sleepers. Anyone else filled out their bracket and anticipating the Madness of March?   |

Yeah, I have been in a MM brackets comp every year for the past 5 years, winning it twice and runner-up once. I usually play it fair safe, with maybe a few upsets. My pick is Kansas over Kentucky in the final. A lot of people say West Virginia's experience will beat kentucky's youth in the elite 8, but we'll see.

BYU and Nova gave me a fright (I expected it from Nova) but they were the big 2 from my bracket today (along with Baylor) so I'm happy with the start I've made. ND (my second team) my only out so far but a long way to go.
I think Kentucky will beat themselves. If it was down to talent they'd win it even ahead of Kansas. Kansas are the number 1 seed overall and rightly so BUT I think they can be got at outside and the way Cuse shoot when they want to know it could be their downfall. As you say WV have the experience and theyre a damn fine team as well.
Did you see Obama's bracket?

I had Old Dominion over ND and so am happy they are out. Currently leading the standings in my group (overall money to be won is $200), but there are many games left to play. I read about Obama's bracket, but did not see it.

This Marquette V Washington game is living up to all expectations. Go Washington (bracket purposes but they're also quite likable)

www.ncaa.com is your friend (every game available to watch) Yeah, I know about the site and have used it in the past. But, I sit in an open environment at my present job and so can't really have the game up on my monitor. It's OK as I just have the Yahoo results page showing which refreshes every time there is a score. |

I've got Kentucky going down to WV. They are a seriously underrated team. No doubt that Tucky has the talent but do they have the mentality? I wonder. |

Thats my final 4 too with Kansas winning it as well.
Looks like I didn't change my original winner to Kansas before the brackets closed. So, I had Kentucky originally and thought I had changed it to Kansas. So, I was rueing the KS loss and checked my standings to find I am still in the hunt. Anyway, I re-checked my bracket and lo and behold, I still had Kentucky winning it. Anyway, I think Northern Iowa should give anyone a tough fight now. |
