By far and away the best browser I have ever had the fortune to use.
I had enough of Firefox as it made more issues than it solved with the latest updated so I decided to try out GC. Just wow. It's like Click. Page. Click. Page. There's barely a second wait. Hats off to Google once again!

Will give it a try. I quite like Firefox and did not mind IE. Tried Safari and it was ok. If this one is that much faster then it is worth a go. I do find that Firefox occasionally freezes for a few seconds.

I like both FF and IE. I tried Chrome, but frankly 2 browsers is more than enough.

Well, I tried it out, and feels like shit, with full respect for Google in general.
What makes Firefox so great is that the addons can block most types of shitware. That alone makes the webpages about ten times faster uploading than GC.

- Only use Firefox, havenīt had a problem with viruses since and their ad blocker is ace. And hereīs a great tip for broadband users 1.Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:
network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.
2. Alter the entries as follows:
Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.
3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.

The "new" Opera 10.5 is supposed to be the best browser atm. Havenīt used it much but it is quick like hell (probaly not quite as fast as Chrome) and I like the turbo mode for when I have a slow connection.

Stay away from IE. Follows it own rules and is a nightmare to use. Even more so if you have to work with it. Unfortunately it has such a large section of the market that a lot of sites cater for it alone.

and the majority virus writers target it.

I'm so sorry.
I've read that line about thirty times and each time I understand it as you using and liking IE.
I give up.
